Zelene Pleso, or ‘The Green Lake,’ tucked away in the High Tatras, is often regarded as one of the most stunning walks – and with good reason. As you gradually gain elevation, the scenery becomes even more dramatic, with vast expanses of pine forests unfurling beneath you, their deep green hues contrasting strikingly against the jagged peaks above. The blend of wild, untamed terrain and the tranquil, emerald waters of Green Lake makes this hike a true highlight of the High Tatras.

Unwind on the picturesque shore, taking in the shimmering lake as it reflects the towering mountains – like a painting come to life.
